OpenMike Comment from Miki Agrawal My name is Miki and I own Slice, the perfect food, an all-natural and organic pizza place on the upper east side of New York City (www.sliceperfect). My product has allowed children and adults alike to understand that they do not need to give up their favorite comfort foods (like pizza) in order to live healthier and longer lives. By simply changing the ingredients to whole wheat crust, low-fat organic mozzarella cheese, sugar-free seven-vegetable marinara sauce, and a slew of antibiotic-free, hormone-free, pesticide-free toppings, everyone can still enjoy a delicious guilt-free slice. We also offer gluten-free, wheat-free, dairy-free varieties and my restaurant is entirely nut-free for those with strong nut allergies. My pizza can now be found in Goldman Sachs bank cafeterias, Merrill Lynch cafes, JP Morgan Cafe, Axa Financial Cafe, TIAA CREF Cafe, among many others and we are growing! Employers are beginning to realize that they can save on health care expenditures and increase productivity if they provide better food in the cafeterias and their employees will be healthier and more alert. I am now working with schools as well to teach the kids how to eat well and still enjoy pizza! I give talks to classrooms across the city about the fun in eating healthy foods like pizza and the fun is keeping active (I play soccer and teach spin class). I would love it if 60 Minutes can pick up a story like this because it's very timely and I think America wants to see how doing something like making pizza healthy can change people's mentality entirely as I've seen it first hand.
